Social/Basic Skills Membership (for the PCC basic skills skater that wants to participate in BFSC social activities and training opportunities. Includes weekly email updates. It does not include a USFS membership and skater will compete on behalf of the PCC and not the BFSC. These members are not eligible to order a BFSC Club Jacket. Can upgrade to an Introductory Skating Membership during the year.)
Introductory Skating Membership (special category for those who are transitioning from the PCC skate school to full USFS membership. Available only for first year members who have never been a full USFS member before. Includes all member benefits for one child skater and one parent/guardian, or one adult skater.)
Child Skating Membership (for the skater under 18 years of age, Includes all member benefits for one child skater and one parent/guardian, testing and competitions privileges.)
Additional Family Member Skating Membership - (for additional skaters in the same family residing in the same household.)
Additional Family Member Non-Skating (for the parent/guardian of a current Child Skating Member or a non-skating child or sibling; voting privileges if 18 years or older, BOD/Club Officer eligibility if 18 years or older, includes participating in BFSC activities.) Does not include t-shirt.
Adult Skating Membership - (for the skater 18 and older, includes all membership benefits, testing and competitions privileges, voting privileges, BOD/Club Officer eligibility.)
Collegiate Skating Membership (must be full time college student, membership good for 4 years or until graduation, whichever is less, proof of enrollment may be required, testing and competitions privileges, participation in BFSC activities, voting privileges if 18 years or older.)
Judges/Officials/Professionals Membership (for a USFS sanctioned judge, or coach with at least 3 current BFSC members whom teaches lessons at the Pelham Civic Complex; voting privileges if 18 years or older; BOD/Club Officer eligibility if 18 years or older; participation in Club activities.) Does not include t-shirt
Non-Skater Membership (for the non-skater who would like to be involved in BFSC; voting privileges if 18 years or older, BOD/Club Officer eligibility if 18 years or older; participating in Club activities.) Does not include t-shirt.
Associate Membership (for current skaters who are USFS members through another Club that are in good standing; testing privileges, participation in Club activities. Does not include voting rights.) Does not include t-shirt
Life Membership – awarded by majority vote of the BFSC Board, includes all membership benefits
There are a variety of skating and non-skating membership available for the Birmingham Figure Skating Club. BFSC memberships run concurrently with US Figure Skating memberships from July 1 through June 30.

Full skating members (Introductory Skating, Child Skating, Addition Family Member Skating, Adult Skating, and Collegiate) are eligible to test and compete on behalf of the BFSC at USFS sanctioned events
Memberships for children under 18 include a required membership for one non-skating parent or guardian. The non-skating parent does not receive a free t-shirt, but may order one for a fee if desired. If both parent and child wish to test/compete, they should register as an adult skating membership and an additional family member skating membership.
BSFC Voting privileges if 18 years or over. BOD eligibility is 18 years or older.
Club T-shirt for those who join by June 30, 2018. The deadline for t-shirts has passed for 2017-2018 Late fee of $25 for joining after July 7, 2018.
